Animation Project

Y4 have had a couple of days off doing an animation project. We made models out of plasticine and used ‘I can animate’ & iMovie to make these short films.
It was wicked!

How to make bread…

In LAT we have learnt how to make bread in a machine and by hand. We made this video so anyone can have a go. It’s easy, so go on get stuck in…

Making a Purse

4PS are making purse´s and 4OQ. We first had a plan sheet to do and we had to do

our ideas for our purse and designes now after we have our plan we get to go on

the fun, gentle and slow part WE HAVE TO SEW it takes a very long time,

to do but after you have took your time and finished it then it is

going to look good and you get to take it home.

Then it will be your own and you can

put anything you like

inside.

New Headteacher

Robin Hood School has got a new headteacher. His name is Mr. Hunter. He is very nice and very tall. He likes to play the piano. We can’t wait for him to play in assembly.

Learn-2-Ride

This week in LAT we’ve been teaching Y3 & 4 how to ride bikes. We are trying to make sure everyone from Y3 to Y6 can ride a bike by the Summer holidays. See our ‘How To – Teach someone how to ride a bike’ video coming soon.

Now Miss. Foxall is working in the Reception A, we have a new teacher Mr. Smith. He’s not as lovely as Mr. Purnell, but he’s OK. (Not as good looking as Mr. Purnell either, but lovely in other ways) Anyway it’s a very exciting time for us. However, the girls think the balance is wrong and we should have a lady teacher!

The book we have been reading and working on is called Charlie Small – Gorilla City. We enjoyed it so much we have started reading the next book in the series. Even the boys have been to the library to get out copies…
‘Something happened to Charlie Small when he was just eight years old – and he’s been trying to get back home for over FOUR HUNDRED YEARS!’
